TIMELINE

IMPORTANT DATES

December 27 2025

Regional selection from major cities of Nepal; where the economics knowledge and analytical skill test is the only selection criterion used for screening the participants to National Round.

January 7 to February 7, 2026

We are hosting the first-ever Pre-National Bootcamp, where 300 top participants from across Nepal will experience a month-long Olympiad journey. After the bootcamp, the top 60 students will advance to the National Round.

March 2026

The top 60 students will advance to Kathmandu for a rigorous three-day National Round powered by group work, partner-led sessions, mentorship activities, financial literacy camps, and more.

July 2026

The top five candidates from the National Round of the Nepal Economics Olympiad will represent Nepal at the prestigious International Economics Olympiad 2026 in China.
